How to train around a 9–5

Picking a class time you’ll actually keep, from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and what to do on the days you can’t.

Pick the time you can protect

The best class time is the one you’ll still show up for in week six, not the one that sounds best on a good Monday. Look at your last two weeks honestly. If your evenings keep getting taken by late meetings, dinners and errands, a morning class is easier to protect. If mornings are a scramble with kids or a long commute, the evening slot may be the one you can keep.

Weekday classes run at 5:30 AM, 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, with a Saturday class at 11:00 AM. Try one time for two full weeks before you decide it doesn’t work.

Treat it like a meeting

Put your class on your work calendar the same way you’d block a meeting. When someone asks for that time, you already have a reason to say no. Booking a few days ahead helps too, because a reserved spot is harder to skip than a plan you made in your head.

Plan for the days you can’t

Some weeks will fall apart. Travel, a sick kid or a deadline will take your usual slot. On those days, a 15-minute walk or a short bodyweight routine at home keeps the habit alive until you’re back. The goal is to never let one missed class turn into a missed month.

Not sure which time fits you best? See the full class schedule and pick one to start.
